Last Saturday came a real message of joy - Queen Paige is pregnant with Chapter Seven. What makes breeding so enormously captivating must be the closeness you know to your horses. "My aunts" as I call the mares I have, each one has a special story and place in my heart.

So what's the story behind Queen Paige? She was born on January 25, 2017, her mother is the Commando Queen and her father is the legendary Muscles Yankee. Paige is named after one of the employees at Winbak Farm, who is a breeder. Modern Commando Queen not only has a fantastic tribe, she also has i.a. left Steamy Windows (mother of Gimpanzee)

2018, Lexington Yearling Sale, Queen Paige was sold with hip number 665, 5th and last auction day. Her strain of course made her extremely interesting as the Gimpanzee already showed what an exceptional horse he was. She was sold on Saturday and in co-ownership with SRF Stable, she was bought and put in training with Marcus Melander. After a difficult two-year season, we made a joint decision to take her out of training and instead let her go to breeding. She was covered as a three-year-old but was not ready. In 2020, to my great joy, I had the opportunity to buy the entire Paige and then did so.

Queen Paige was again covered with Chapter Seven and on Saturday she was found pregnant. Her offspring will have an almost identical strain as the Gimpanzee, a horse I can not explain in words what he means to me. They are also very similar in appearance.

Take care & see you again!
